Kelly Drake

Health Benefits Analyst/Membership Support

Kelly Drake joins the team as our Health Benefits Analyst/Membership Support, a newly created position at edHEALTH. In this role, Kelly supports our member-owner schools and their advisors and works closely with edHEALTH’s third-party administrators and business partners. With a keen eye for analytics, she stays close to the data to understand our individual schools’ needs, identify trends, and present program recommendations.

Kelly is a seasoned Employee Benefits and Human Resources professional certified as a CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). Before becoming a member of the edHEALTH team, she spent the last five and a half years working at Benemax, Inc (now part of OneDigital). At this brokerage, she advised clients and internal employees regarding benefits and human resources laws/regulations, including but not limited to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS, and DOL regulations. She also ensured compliance with all employee benefits laws and regulations. Kelly also lived in Florida for a couple of years and served as the Director of Human Resources at the Florida Education Association.

Kelly returned home to Southern Rhode Island in 2018 to spend more time with her family, which now includes two young grandsons and her beloved pair of rescue American Staffordshire Terriers. She enjoys spending time walking on the beach near her home and swimming.
