All team members have deep healthcare and employee benefits expertise. Each person brings a unique set of skills to ensure that edHEALTH is the preferred healthcare solution for your faculty, staff, and family members.
A. Tracy Hassett
A. Tracy Hassett, SPHR, is the President and CEO of Educators Health, LLC (edHEALTH). She also serves as President and CEO of Educators Health Insurance Exchange, edHEALTH’s stop-loss captive. Tracy reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall performance of the organization.
Tracy was the first Vice President of Human Resources for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and rose through the HR ranks over a nine year period, assuming the VP position in 2007. Prior to WPI, Tracy worked as a HR Manager of a Worcester-based law firm.
While Tracy was working at WPI, she joined Boston Consortium higher education finance executives who were looking for a solution to the healthcare cost conundrum. In 2015, when edHEALTH’s Board of Directors determined they needed a full-time employee, they turned to Tracy. She was named president and CEO on September 1, 2015. Passionate about finding innovative ways to bend the healthcare cost curve, Tracy relishes the impact edHEALTH is making in this arena. She serves as Chair on the Board of Directors of The Vermont Captive Insurance Association, the trade association that promotes the captive insurance industry in Vermont.
Tracy has two purebred dogs - a Chocolate Labrador Retriever and Black Lab. She and her husband enjoy boating and exploring Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay – where they reside – and all it has to offer. They have a daughter who lives in San Diego; another daughter who lives in Los Angeles; and their son who lives in New Orleans. Whenever they can, they travel to see their adult children.
